Deuteronomy 11:13-15:13 “So if you listen carefully to my mitzvot which I am giving you today, to love Adonai your G-d and serve him with all your heart and all your being; 14 then, [says Adonai,] ‘I will give your land its rain at the right seasons, including the early fall rains and the late spring rains; so that you can gather in your wheat, new wine and olive oil; 15 and I will give your fields grass for your livestock; with the result that you will eat and be satisfied.’
I was blessed to see rain falling today, and I said,“Thank you!” Rain is a blessing from the Most High, especially for those of us who have planted gardens this season. Even the grass needs the rain to flourish so our livestock will have food.
Our perspective on the rain and cloudy sky should be one of thankfulness and gratitude. Pull out the raincoat, umbrella, or rain boots and enjoy your day. Gratitude and thankfulness is the best lens for this rainy Monday! Have a blessed week.
Shalom Family!
