Statement
Of
Faith
Total Choice is a Bible-centered hub dedicated to proclaiming the truth of G-d’s Word. Our mission is to share these truths through a framework of sound theological affirmations. These affirmations are designed to inspire confidence in our content and its biblical foundation, not to restrict how it may be used or understood.

a. Mission – Go and (teach) them to carry out all the things which I have commanded you forever. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
b. Vision – A Healing Place and Training Ground for G-d’s People
c. Statement of Faith
i. The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired Word of G-d, a revelation from G-d to men, the infallible rule of faith and conduct (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12).
It reveals the principles and laws by which G-d judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of our faith, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to the Messiah Yeshua, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.
Exodus 24:4; Deuteronomy 4:1-2; 17:19; Joshua 8:34; Psalms 19:7-10; 119:11,89,105,140; Isaiah 34:16; 40:8; Jeremiah 15:16; 36:1-32; Matthew 5:17-18; 22:29; Luke 21:33; 24:44-46; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Acts 2:16ff.; 17:11; Romans 15:4; 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 1:19-21.
ii. One G-d
There is one G-d (Deuteronomy 6:4), who is infinitely perfect (Matthew 5:48), existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) is the true G-d and the true man (Philippians 2:6–11). He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:34–38). He died upon the cross, the Just for the unjust (1 Peter 3:18), as a substitutionary sacrifice (Hebrews 2:9), and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood (Romans 5:9). He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures (Acts 2:23–24). He is now at the right hand of the Most High as our great High Priest (Hebrews 8:1). He will come again to establish His kingdom, righteousness and peace (Matthew 26:64).
There is one G-d, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11). Holy Spirit is a divine person (John 14:15–18), sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer (John 16:13; Acts 1:8), and convict and convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:7–11).
iii. Man’s Fall and Redemption
Man was created good and upright, for G-d said, “Let us make man in our image and after our likeness.” Man, by voluntary transgression, fell from that happy and holy state, and his only hope of redemption is in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ), the Son of G-d (Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:17; Rom. 5:12-21).i
v. Regeneration
For anyone to know G-d, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (John 6:44, 65).
v. Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ); His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from G-d, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts (Acts 2:21; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).
vi. Repentance
Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Yeshua Messiah, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation (Acts 2:21,38,3:19; Matthew 3:2, 4:17;1 John 1:9).
vii. Sanctification
Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to G-d's Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ's character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of G-d that the believer is enabled to live a godly life (1Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; 2 Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, Romans 8:29, 12:1-2, Hebrews 2:11).
viii. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). This was the normal experience of all in the early church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31).
This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9). With the baptism in Holy Spirit come such experiences as an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39; Acts 4:8), a deepened reverence for the Most High (Acts 2:43; Hebrews 12:28), an intensified consecration to G-d and dedication to His work (Acts 2:42), and a more active love for Yeshua, for His Word, and for the lost (Mark 16:20).
ix. The Initial Physical
Evidence of the Baptism in Holy Spirit
The baptism of believers in Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of G-d gives them utterance (Acts 2:4). The speaking in tongues in this instance is the same in essence as the gift of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:4-10,28), but different in purpose and use.
x. Healing Power
Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Yeshua (Jesus Christ) for the healing of the mortal body (Matthew 8:16–17). Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the Church in this present age (James 5:13–16).
xi. The Church “Ekklesia”, The Messianic Community interchangeably
The Ekklesia is the called-out assembly consisting of a body of disciples (believers, saints) who are headed by, governed by, loved by and subject to Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) who is the Savior of the body and gave Himself for the body. Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:22, 4:15; Ephesians 5:23-25, 29; Colossians 1:18, 24; Hebrews 12:23
The church of the firstborn – Hebrews 12:23
A people chosen by G-d – 1 Peter 2:9; John 15:16; Romans 8:33; Ephesians 1:4; Colossians 3:12; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; James 2:5; 1 Peter 1:2
A people called by G-d – Romans 1:6; Acts 2:39; 1 Corinthians 1:2,9; Galatians 1:6; 2 Thessalonians 2:14; 2 Timothy 1:9; Jude 1
A people loved by G-d - 1 Peter 2:10; Ephesians 2:1-5; Titus 3:4-7
G-d’s covenant people – Hebrews 8:8-10; Romans 11:27; Isaiah 59:20-21; Hebrews 10:16; Jeremiah 31:31-33
xiii. The Kingdom
The Kingdom of G-d includes both His sovereignty over the universe and His particular kingship over men who willfully acknowledge Him as King. Particularly the Kingdom is the realm of salvation into which men enter by being born again with a trustful, childlike commitment to Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). Believers of the Most High ought to pray and to labor that the Kingdom may come and God's will be done on earth. The full consummation of the Kingdom awaits the return of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) and the end of this age.
Kingdom citizens are to live so the Sovereign rulership and governing influence of the Most High’s will, purpose, and intent is manifested in the Earth through their lives. Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 9:6-7; Jeremiah 23:5-6; Matthew 3:2; 4:8-10,23; 12:25-28; 13:1-52; 25:31-46; 26:29; Mark 1:14-15; 9:1; Luke 4:43; 8:1; 9:2; 12:31-32; 17:20-21; 23:42; John 3:3; 18:36; Acts 1:6-7; 17:22-31; Romans 5:17; 8:19; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28; Colossians 1:13; Hebrews 11:10,16; 12:28; 1 Peter 2:4-10; 4:13; Revelation 1:6,9; 5:10; 11:15; 21-22.
