Motivation Morsel - April 30, 2026

Breakthrough Is Here!

2 Samuel 5:20 CJB: So David went to Ba'al-P'ratzim and defeated them there. He said, "Adonai has broken through my enemies for me like a river breaking through its banks." This is why He called the place Ba'al-P'ratzim [Lord of breaking through].

I was sitting and praying this morning, asking the Most High about what is coming, and I was busy doing the tasks of the day when the phone rang. It was my dear friend of 30 years calling to say she had gotten the job! She had her fourth interview the day before, and early (Hallelujah, somebody) this morning, she got the call with the offer she wanted. Her joy is overflowing, and we were sooooooooo elated by how G-d works.

We laughed and thanked YAH for bringing her through. I asked if I could use her story as the Motivation Morsel today, and she said, "By all means, share it!" She had been laid off for almost a year, and anyone in consulting understands the ebbs and flows of projects, especially at the senior level. This time, she decided not to be in the posture of doubt but faith that the Most High would provide, and she DID NOT LIVE IN A WAY so others would know she was unemployed and did not change her routine of life and kept speaking positively and living in faith. You have to know she is so gifted and kept doing whatever was put in front of her in the meantime. She has been working on her business and is ready to submit her business license application this week, and her book she wrote in the meantime will be ready next week; her home was totally decluttered—every drawer and closet storage, according to her standards (I never see anything out of place, ha ha!); she had the surgery she kept putting off because of work; she perfected branding for her business; and the list is long, but you get the idea. She was busy doing what YAH had given her the time to do while waiting for her next. She was choosing to see the good, not ruminate on the bad in the situation. She kept moving forward, not looking sad, not looking back, and not standing still.

Right at the moment when the enemy was trying to make her doubt, the Most High provided. She went to one of her self-care appointments today and testified how the LORD had provided, and the technician said to her, "I never knew you were out of work all this time!" Her reply was, "I purposely decided not to walk in that posture this time!" Importantly, she did not forget that now it was time to testify to the goodness of the LORD and share her testimony so that others would come to know that the MOST HIGH is a promise-keeper; if HE says it is coming, family, it is on its way!!!

I don't know what you are waiting for, but I need you to stay in the posture of expectancy. Like my sister-friend, your breakthrough is right here; you are about to see it in the natural realm. Your enemies are defeated, and the Lord is breaking through for you! Walk by faith and not by sight.
