The Most High is speaking...
When the Most High says something to you, when He says what He has to say about a matter, how do you behave? Do you behave like Sarah and laugh? Do you behave like Zechariah and express doubt? Do you behave like Mary and get excited? Examine yourself today and decide how you will behave from this moment forward when the Most High speaks on a matter. He is speaking. How are you answering? Scriptures: Genesis 18 Luke 1 Genesis 15:1-6 Prayer: Father, thank you for being G-d Most

The Most High Knows Your Name and Place In His Plan!
Numbers 1:5, 17, tells us that the Most High selected the heads of the families to aid Moses and Aaron in taking the census. I had read that scripture many times, but I heard, "Read it again." And verse 5 jumped off the page: that G-d Himself was naming the men to take with them. You, like the heads of the families, have been chosen to be here, designated by name, and called to walk in your purpose. He knows your name and place in His plan. He has a plan for your life. Know y

Counting the Omer Mitzvah
Leviticus 23:15-16 states, "From the day after the day of rest (second day of Passover)—that is, from the day you bring the sheaf for waving—you count seven full weeks, until the day after the seventh week, you are to count fifty days, and then you are to present a new grain offering to ADONAI." I was reciting Day 5 of the "Counting the Omer" blessing when the Spirit reminded me to tell G-d's people that this 50-day journey from Passover to Shavuot (Pentecost) is meant to be

Too Close to Miss It: Silence the Noise
BY ELDER A. WORTHY On Tuesday morning, I found myself sitting at the airport, waiting to board a flight home. Upon my arrival, I noticed a twenty-minute delay in my flight—but honestly, that didn't bother me. What stood out more was how smoothly everything else had gone. I had arrived at the airport two hours prior, bracing myself for a long morning. I bought into the chatter that had been playing for a few days about airports having long TSA lines and delays. To my surprise,

Remove the leaven from your houses...
We are rapidly approaching Passover (Pesach) and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Exodus 12:15 says, "For seven days you are to eat matzah—on the first day remove the leaven from your houses." What does that mean? Literally in the natural, we are to work to remove anything that has chametz (leavened grain products forbidden for Passover), and I adhere to Sephardic Passover requirements. Sephardic Passover requirements differ from Ashkenazi or Orthodox traditions primarily by al

Aaronic Blessing: Daily Prayer Over Yourself
Each day, pray this prayer over yourself, as a child of the Most High. Numbers 6:22 Adonai said to Moshe, 23 “Speak to Aharon and his sons, and tell them that this is how you are to bless the people of Isra’el: you are to say to them, 24 ‘Y’varekh’kha Adonai v’yishmerekha. [The LORD bless you and protect you.] 25 Ya’er Adonai panav eleikha vichunekka. [The LORD deal kindly and graciously with you!] 26 Yissa Adonai panav eleikha v’yasem l’kha shalom. Own What You Know
About 4:25 a.m., I was awakened to the Spirit saying, "Own what you know!" Then I heard the following two scriptures: Genesis 15:6, which says, "He (Abraham) believed in Adonai, and He credited it to him as righteousness." Romans 4:17 states, "This accords with the Tanakh, where it says, 'I have appointed you to be a father to many nations.' Abraham is our father in G-d's sight because he trusted G-d as the one who gives life to the dead and calls nonexistent things into exis

What Shabbat means to me?
S unset on Friday has come, and the household is preparing for a day of rest and renewal, like the Creator, who rested from all His work on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2-3). H ealing and provision have come as the day produces of itself. The Most High made the Shabbat to meet the needs of His children (Isaiah 58:13-14; Leviticus 25; Mark 2:27-28). A n appointed time to spend with the Most High and to be obedient to this weekly mitzvah, a sign between the Most High and us forev

FEAR
I had a conversation with Holy Spirit about fear. First, there are two kinds of fear: reverential fear, or awe of the Most High, which is the wise and best posture for all of us (Psalm 34:10, 111:10; Proverbs 1:7, 9:10; Ecclesiastes 12:13; Matthew 10:28; Hebrews 12:28-29). Second is a negative fear that represents cowardice, anxiety, timidity, and terror. Over the years, I have heard people use the popular acrostic, 'false evidence appearing real,' for this type of 'fear.' An

Don't Go Backwards
A week ago, I heard Holy Spirit say, "Don't go backwards." I was listening to see if I would receive more direction, but nothing. Yesterday I was sitting on the sofa, and the conversation began again. Every time we encounter a challenge, it appears to be a daunting task. I was reminded of the many struggles to finish my dissertation—tearful long nights, often waking up with my computer in my lap, no personal life, and writing every weekend for 4 years. In 2021, during the las

CHOSEN!
We are chosen and destined to succeed, which means we are placed on earth to fulfill the Most High's plans for each of His children. The goal is to understand what we were purposed to accomplish in His magnificent plan to bring heaven to earth, to let our light shine so others see the Most High through us, and to be examples of the glorious works of the Kingdom that humanity was created to be. When you were in the Most High's mind, before you were ever created in your moth

Safety Detail
On 12/9/25, the Most High reminded me that every day of my life, I have a safety detail more powerful and trained than any law enforcement agency or bodyguard in the world. Prayer Thank you for protecting me and for providing the weapons in my arsenal to guard and keep me while I journey through each day of the life you planned for me. You are a loving G-d, and You desire for me to complete this mission; all glory, honor, and praise to Your holy and righteous name. Amen. Scri

Excuses
Have you ever said, "I would or should or could have but..." or "I will get to it later but never do and justify why you didn't?" These statements, along with a long list of others, are often excuses for not doing something we were led to do that never happened. Some say it is procrastination, but in my devotions yesterday, Holy Spirit said these are excuses and lead to disobedience. As I prayed, I understood that no one knows how many days they have on Earth or when the Mess

Let It Go!
Holy Spirit led me to share with a congregation three weeks ago that the season has changed. I knew the change had occurred, yet I was having a tough time with the changes. I was feeling out of control, and moving forward felt impossible. I found myself in a difficult place. I was upset and angry often. I found it challenging to do anything and struggled with the inability to move about with the ice and snow that lingered longer than I ever anticipated. I got up on the morn

A Prayer Point From the Life of Noah: Character for 2026
I was reading the Book of Enoch, and when I read the description of Noah's life, Holy Spirit said that I need to make the description of his life a daily prayer point. My new daily prayer point: Thank you for this day, Most High. Each day of my life, please let my lot be like that of Noah—to let my lot be a lot without blame, a lot of love, and uprightness. Amen.

Is It Faith or Evidence?
Hebrews 11:1 KJV states, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. " A dire situation arose. During my prayer time, I believed I heard it was already done. I actually prayed several times about the same situation and got the same message each time, but I failed to praise the Most High for the answer. I even prayed again, and then no response, just silence. It was as if I had forgotten all G-d had done for me in other situations. I actua

The End
If the end was today, would you be ready? Would you hear, "Well done!"? Or, would you hear, "Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!" cf. Matthew 7:21-23 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) Many have questioned whether the Messiah will really come back and whether the end of the world is real. My answer is to read the entirety of Revelation 22 CJB and focus on verses 20-21, which state, "The one who is testifying to these things says, 'Yes, I am coming soon!' Amen! Come, Lord Y

See the good in all things...
See the good in all things—no matter what comes our way, there is something good in it. Find the good! Sometimes, things happen that seem life-changing and dream-shattering and can challenge our faith. In these moments, the adversary would want us to question if Gd is real, if the Most High loves us, and if He cares. In March 2025, the contract for the position I had held for five years ended suddenly. A week later, my sister in love, and then my father experienced life-thr
