See the good in all things—no matter what comes our way, there is something good in it. Find the good!

Sometimes, things happen that seem life-changing and dream-shattering and can challenge our faith. In these moments, the adversary would want us to question if Gd is real, if the Most High loves us, and if He cares.

In March 2025, the contract for the position I had held for five years ended suddenly. A week later, my sister in love, and then my father experienced life-threatening illnesses and major surgery. I felt as though a raging storm had struck without warning, forcing me to make a choice: either believe these events came to break or punish us, or choose to look for the good that could be found within them. I chose to see the good despite all that was happening. I started by thanking the Most High for the assignment I was blessed to experience for the past five years, and now, providing me with time to be with my family during their crises. I was able to stay in the hospital for days at a time, move in temporarily to assist my parents after Dad's surgery, witness their healing process, and begin this new journey, Total Choice, that was established three years ago but sat dormant in my "ideas" list.

All praises to the Most High, my sister and father are improving daily, and I am once again searching for employment while working on several items on my "ideas" list. No, I am not glad that my family faced these challenges or that I lost my job; however, I am grateful that I was able to support them during their time of need. Every experience carries purpose, and while some of these events may be painful, life-altering, and sudden, the Most High is with us, and there is some good to be found in the midst of our circumstances.

Prayer

Lord, thank you for loving me and promising to always be with me wherever life takes me. Despite my circumstances, thank you for helping me to see the good and focus on the purpose of this season in my life. Amen.
