Isaiah 43:18 "Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by;
19 I am doing something new; it’s springing up—can't you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland.

Holy Spirit is speaking. Yesterday dealt with verse 18, the letting go of the past and focusing on “Today,” and with the right response it brings good for our future. Today we look at what that future looks like in verse 19.
The Most High is doing a new thing, something you have not done before that is “springing up,” which means whatever G-d is doing through you is going to appear, grow, or start to exist suddenly and quickly; it is going to pop up “so fast,” and it should not surprise you. Why? Because the Most High is expecting your spiritual eyes to see and know the signs that it is coming and to be in full expectation of what He is doing, because you are intimately connected with Him, you have been in prayer, you have been obeying His voice, and all of you is sensing, "God is up to something!”
What should you see? The LORD gave me analogies based on the work in planning and preparing to build a road as the signs you are starting to see that the new is coming.
If a road is being made in the desert, that means the movement and clearing of dry, loose sand is going to kick up some dust. That means the Most High is brushing off some dust that has collected on the plans He gave you and has told you to get ready because He is about to activate them fully (cf. Jeremiah 29:11).
Next, in planning and preparing to build the road, they have to stabilize the deep subgrade with moisture or chemicals, laying strong aggregate stone layers, and paving with thick asphalt or concrete. Translate that to know the Most High is stabilizing you. He is making sure you are rooted and grounded in His word, know His voice, quick to obey, and your foundation is strong and goes deep; that the digging at your layers won’t shake you or make you give up or give way; you will be like the roots of a tree planted by the water (cf. Jeremiah 17:8; Psalm 1:3), you will be strong holding to the solid rock on which you stand which is Yeshua, the chief cornerstone, the firmest foundation you can have “today” (cf. 1 Peter 2:6; Ephesians 2:20; Acts 4:11).
Last in the preparation stage of building a road, the workers must also build drainage channels to handle rare flash floods and install sand fences to stop dunes from blocking the path. That means He is building you up and testing you to make sure you know how to filter out the stuff that would try to block your path. You know how to deal with the “flood” of negativity that may pop up against what the Most High is doing in you like Nehemiah (weapon in one hand, tools in the other so you can stay on the wall when your enemies arise cf. Nehemiah 4:17-18). You can know how to answer or ignore the voice of your family and friends like Job (know you have to answer to G-d and pray for those friends so you get to the double for your trouble cf. Job 42:10). You can learn the strategies to destroy those people or things that try to block your path like David (who used the way He was taught by the Most High to kill Goliath, not Saul’s weapon, but what the LORD had been teaching him while tending sheep (cf. 1 Samuel 17:49-51).
I am reminded of the once famous Route 66 (look it up) that when it was built in 1926, the road cut through remote, rugged parts of the Mojave Desert, high-desert terrain in Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona, and high-elevation, semi-arid desert and plains landscapes in New Mexico. It took great planning and preparation to build the 2,448-mile highway that traverse the long expanse of road through different terrains it covered. It took skilled workers able to perform “hard” manual labor under harsh conditions in arid, high temperatures (above 100) in the desert to get the job done.
Today, I hear the LORD saying, outline your plans and finish the preparation that has been taking place to bring you to the “wealthy place” He is taking you to in this “NEW” thing He is doing. Like the workers who built the road Route 66, some of you have been in some intense trials, isolation, enemies all around, your family and friends talking about you or don’t understand you, and it seems like the season was “harsh” and really hard to make it through as if the situation would never end. That was all for your making! In this “NEW” season, you will be able to climb the high mountains, survive in the low valleys, be alright if you are alone or leading others, and no matter the conditions, how bad it gets, you will survive because you have passed the test and about to walk in your “NEW” thing. HalleluYAH 🔥
