Psalm 91:1 You who live in the shelter of ‘Elyon,
who spend your nights in the shadow of Shaddai,
2 who say to Adonai, “My refuge! My fortress!
My G-d, in whom I trust!” —
3 he will rescue you from the trap of the hunter
and from the plague of calamities;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his truth is a shield and protection.
5 You will not fear the terrors of night
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the plague that roams in the dark,
or the scourge that wreaks havoc at noon.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand;
but it won’t come near you.
8 Only keep your eyes open,
and you will see how the wicked are punished.
9 For you have made Adonai, the Most High,
who is my refuge, your dwelling-place.
10 No disaster will happen to you,
no calamity will come near your tent;
11 for he will order his angels to care for you
and guard you wherever you go.
12 They will carry you in their hands,
so that you won’t trip on a stone.
13 You will tread down lions and snakes,
young lions and serpents you will trample underfoot.
14 “Because he loves me, I will rescue him;
because he knows my name, I will protect him.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him when he is in trouble.
I will extricate him and bring him honor.
16 I will satisfy him with long life
and show him my salvation.”

This week’s theme is “My Personal Prayer Points.” I have many that I say everyday and then some when led by Holy Spirit to do so. A while ago (cannot remember how long ago) I began praying a group of Scripture's called the “Safety Detail” that includes Psalm 23, Psalm 35, Psalm 91, Psalm 121, Ephesians 6:10-18, and 2 Corinthians 10:3-8. I do not pray them all everyday, but most of them I incorporate into my morning and sometimes night prayers. Who am I kidding, I speak lines from these during the day as warfare is heightened, and I know the Word is a weapon in my arsenal against the tactics of the adversary. Psalm 91 is a daily prayer I say over my family and all of my Kingdom family especially those in the churches and ministries with whom I am connected.
I have been praying this one for years, and I talk like the writer to my Heavenly Father and thank Him for his protection. I literally thank Him for “the angels He has assigned to care for me and guard me wherever you go.” I may have to make this a teaching, because people fear “adding to and taking away from the word” (Revelation 22:18-19). Speaking the Word back to the Father who gave the instructions for living (Torah) told me that I can have that level of intimacy in my prayer time with Him. I even had a true prophet say to me just last week, “the Most High loves the way you use His word and songs in your time with Him.” She had no clue how my time with Abba is structured, but He does.
We are His children whom He loves, and His word will stand forever (cf. Isaiah 40:8). It behooves us to use the “eternal instructions to live by” when taking to the Eternal Instructions Giver.
I pray this helps all of us increase or enhance our prayer time with the LORD.
Joyful Monday Family. Live on purpose and love unconditionally.
Shalom Aleichem
