Part 2 of "Cares of Life."

Yesterday was a day... Last night and this morning, my WIX app would not open on my phone (a first), and then the Bible Gateway app would not work on my computer; then the WIX app on my computer would not open after a computer update. Next, my work portal was not bringing up results. All this was happening when I was listening to my morning devotion music after prayer, and I said, "The enemy must really be losing ground. LORD G-d rebuke satan." Within minutes, I can get on my app on the computer (still not my phone), and I can type the Scriptures. Thank you, LORD, for my hands." I got myself a cup of water and set out to finish this assignment.

Matthew 6:19-34: Do not store up for yourselves wealth here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and burglars break in and steal. For where your wealth is, there your heart will be also. 'The eye is the lamp of the body.' So if you have a 'good eye' [that is, if you are generous], your whole body will be full of light; but if you have an 'evil eye' [if you are stingy], your whole body will be full of darkness. If, then, the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! No one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can't be a slave to both G-d and money.

Therefore, I tell you, don't worry about your life—what you will eat or drink; or about your body—what you will wear. Isn't life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds flying about! They neither plant nor harvest, nor do they gather food into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they are?

Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to his life? And why be anxious about clothing? Think about the fields of wild irises, and how they grow. They neither work nor spin thread, yet I tell you that not even Shlomo (Solomon) in all his glory was clothed as beautifully as one of these. If this is how G-d clothes grass in the field, which is here today and gone tomorrow, thrown in an oven—won't he much more clothe you? What little trust you have!

So don't be anxious, asking, 'What will we eat?,' 'What will we drink?' or 'How will we be clothed?' For it is the pagans who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all. But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Don't worry about tomorrow—tomorrow will worry about itself! Today has enough tsuris (troubles, woes, and aggravation) already!

Family, we have to pray and stay persistent, all out determined to do what the Most High has assigned to our hands to perform. It may not be easy, and the way we did it yesterday may not work, but there is a way, and He has a plan. Ms. Browning was right; I should have been more attentive in keyboarding class! Typing all this was brutal. Yet, technology did work for spelling and grammar checks! No, I am not fixing anything it did not catch. (lol)

Today is a new day filled with new mercies and new opportunities to love one another.

G-d's got it! How do I know, you may ask? You are reading this despite all the technical difficulties, my personal situations, and my many cares of life. A lot is going on, but I have joy. That's how I know!

My plan to work early was thwarted, but the Most High knew that, too. I am up early to write this post the long way!

Live on purpose, Family; enjoy the day, and know that victory and a breakthrough are nigh.

The LORD bless you and keep you.

The LORD make His face shine on you and show you His favor.

The LORD lift up His face toward you and give you peace.

Shalom.
