Genesis 12 Now Adonai said to Avram, “Get yourself out of your country, away from your kinsmen and away from your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
4 So Avram went, as Adonai had said to him, and Lot went with him. Avram was 75 years old when he left Haran. 5 Avram took his wife Sarai, his brother’s son Lot, and all their possessions which they had accumulated, as well as the people they had acquired in Haran; then they set out for the land of Kena‘an and entered the land of Kena‘an.

I thank the Most High for a much needed break yesterday. Praying that Commitment Monday was a blessing to all as you read through the Sabbath readings from Friday, the Shabbat Message, and Sunday’s Morsel. Praying with you on your new prayer points from the Scriptures.
The Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) gave me two points to share from today’s verses.
When the Most High commands us to be sent out, it is not to take anything from us or to destroy His children, but to set us up for blessings that overflow to others. We are still partakers in Abraham’s obedience to go in Genesis 12 thousands of years later in 5787. The Most High is still blessing the families of the earth because of Abraham; we as believers in the Messiah are the seed of Abraham (read Romans 4).
Family, biological and spiritual, who walk with the Most High and obey Him too are blessings and help us to meet what the Most High has planned for our lives. Sarai (Sarah) loved her husband and obeyed the command of the LORD with Abraham who loved her and Lot, his nephew. They left their familiar place and family and set out for an unknown land. Thank the Most High for others that are like-minded in doing the will of the Father. Yeshua made this point clear that biology and blood ties are not the true measure of family. Those who hear and obey (Shema) the will of the Most High in spiritual relationship is true family and kinship (cf. Matthew 12:46-50; Mark 3:31-35; Luke 8:19-21). It is truly a blessing and nothing more beautiful when you have blood relations who walk with you and move as the Most High commands in spiritual unity; that is not to be taken for granted. Thank the Most High for blessing you with family especially those who work with you in fulfilling the call upon your life.
We thank G-d for Father Abraham and his obedience. We can learn alot from Abraham’s life about the heart of G-d and how the Most High uses us to bless one another, His children, and how our obedience impacts others.
My prayer point from today is “LORD teach me to follow you wherever you send me with instant obedience like Abraham. I thank you for all of my family You have assigned to walk with me on this journey called “Life.” I pray I never take for granted the importance of the call and the kinship you have provided. In Yeshua’s name. Amein.”
Happy Tuesday, Family. I pray you have a blessed day in the LORD. 🔥
