Motivation Morsel - September 20, 2026

2 Corinthians 5:⁶ So we are always confident — we know that so long as we are at home in the body, we are away from our home with the Lord; ⁷ for we live by trust, not by what we see. ⁸ We are confident, then, and would much prefer to leave our home in the body and come to our home with the Lord.

⁹ Therefore, whether at home or away from home, we try our utmost to please him; ¹⁰ for we must all appear before the Messiah’s court of judgment, where everyone will receive the good or bad consequences of what he did while he was in the body.

Romans 14:¹⁰ You then, why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For all of us will stand before G-d’s judgment seat; ¹¹ since it is written in the Tanakh, “As I live, says Adonai, every knee will bend before me, and every tongue will publicly acknowledge G-d.”

¹² So then, every one of us will have to give an account of himself to G-d.

1 Corinthians 3:However, each will be rewarded according to his work. ⁹ For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. ¹⁰ Using the grace God gave me, I laid a foundation, like a skilled master-builder; and another man is building on it. But let each one be careful how he builds. ¹¹ For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Yeshua the Messiah. ¹² Some will use gold, silver or precious stones in building on this foundation; while others will use wood, grass or straw. ¹³ But each one’s work will be shown for what it is; the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire — the fire will test the quality of each one’s work. ¹⁴ If the work someone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward; ¹⁵ if it is burned up, he will have to bear the loss: he will still escape with his life, but it will be like escaping through a fire.

1 Corinthians 4:⁵ So don’t pronounce judgment prematurely, before the Lord comes; for he will bring to light what is now hidden in darkness; he will expose the motives of people’s hearts; and then each will receive from God whatever praise he deserves.

Revelation 20:¹¹ Next I saw a great white throne and the One sitting on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, both great and small, standing in front of the throne. Books were opened; and another book was opened, the Book of Life; and the dead were judged from what was written in the books, according to what they had done. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead in it; and Death and Sh’ol gave up the dead in them; and they were judged, each according to what he had done. ¹⁴ Then Death and Sh’ol were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the second death — the lake of fire. ¹⁵ Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was hurled into the lake of fire.

Happy Sunday Family!

As we prepare for the final day of the Days of Awe, Yom Kippur, which begins at sundown tonight, let us be reminded of our future judgment at the Bema seat, from what was written in the books, The Book Of Life, according to what we have done.

Let’s get it right, Family. If we have aught or unforgiveness in our heart, forgive them. Likewise, if we have offended someone, ask for forgiveness. Repent of any sin that has yet to be dealt with before the Most High. These are all crucial to living in holiness and righteousness. Why you may say? We will have to give an account for all of our deeds! Yeshua, Our Savior, died, rose again, ascended to heaven, and sprinkled His Blood on the mercy seat in heaven sealing our redemption, that we might have everlasting life (cf. Hebrews 9; Romans 3:23-25; John 3:16), that we can be forgiven of our sins and cleansed or all unrighteousness (cf. 1 John 1:9), so we must forgive others of their trespasses against us as He forgives us (cf. Matthew 6:12).

Beloved, we are forgive and redeemed!
