Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am G-d: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the G-d of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

The past few months, I have heard this verse often and it is because I am in a place where I am asking for answers, standing at a “crossroad” in some areas of life, and not sure which way to go. Be still, and know that I am G-d” is a passage that has always been a true help to me in times like this. It tells me to stand still, quiet my heart and mind, and trust G-d's timing, protection and instructions on moving forward when He is ready to give them.
Sometimes that stillness and quietness is deafening when life feels hard or scary. It requires closing out all the noise of the world, what you see in the natural, silencing the narratives that you have created of how the situation is going, will go, should go and just letting go of trying to fix or control everything and “be still, be silent - no more heart racing, busy thoughts, just reliance and trust that the Most High has it in full control.”
G-d is with us, His children, and He knows exactly what He is doing. He knows when we need to move, how we need to move, and what we need to do.
This may sound odd, but it is usually when I get quiet and still, I hear Him the best. On this commitment Monday, I decided to not jump on my long list of prayer points. My alarm went off, I said, “Good morning LORD,” prayed and sat still, and Family, directions started flowing 🤭. Several questions I had been asking the Most High were answered in moments, and the others I have before Him, obviously it is not time to approach them yet so let them be.
I clocked in to work and even that flowed naturally instead of the struggle I had with “all new instructions, workflows, and project format”that I encountered at the end of last week. Regarding the plethora of questions before the Most High about my job…when I got quiet, Holy Spirit spoke the answers that I was fighting change something the Most High is trying to walk me through, and I had to admit to myself I was doing just that. Beloved, I was fighting what G-d was doing, and He was using my job assignment to do it. He was trying to teach me how to flow with rapid changes, many at one time, and I was fighting that change, because I wanted things to stay the same. I knew how to do what I was doing before. He reminded me that just like I learned that, He built the capacity for me to learn this. And yes, I don’t like unannounced change, but that is how life is sometimes; “things happen without announcing they are coming” and we have to be ready!
So on this Commitment Monday, I encourage you to take a few minutes today and be still and quiet with the Most High. If you are at a crossroad (like me) stop asking for direction if you already asked. (I promise He heard you the first time). Instead, be still and quiet and enjoy some time with the LORD without telling Him what you need or where you are; just in your own way, tell Him you trust Him (timing, decisions, change, etc. whatever comes to your heart and mind). I actually was reminded to tell Him I love you G-d! Just for being G-d!
It is time to start my new workflow (I aced the assessment that was hard but I passed praise YAH) and I am going to start on this new assignment, I have two this week!! And, I hope this helps you to adjust your outlook, mind, heart, thoughts, prayer points, or like me my busy thoughts about things the Most High has already worked out. I encourage you (as I am learning) to be patient and wait on His answers. Sit in the moment to hear the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). Sit at the crossroad and wait. This morning I saw this visual. A train is coming and the arm is down and I have to wait for the train to pass before I move forward. I can sit there and ruminate on how long it is going to take to pass, how late I am going to be, or I can take those few minutes to notice the beautiful sky and landscapes, or thank the Most High for bringing me to this crossing point, or listen to a worship song, or pray for someone, or… I think you get the point. I am thankful He loves me in all my shortcomings and allows me to repent and grow. He really does love us and wants us to succeed! 🔥
Enjoy this beautiful day Family. All things are working for our good. Be still and know the Most High has it all in control - everything. Live life and live on purpose.
Shalom Aleikhem❤️
