Deuteronomy 1:8 I have set the land before you! Go in, and take possession of the land Adonai swore to give to your ancestors Avraham, Yitz’chak and Ya‘akov, and their descendants after them.’

The Most High made promises to Abraham, Isaac regarding Canaan. You have to read the Torah (Genesis to Deuteronomy for the whole story). After delivering the Israelites from Egypt (Exodus 12-15), the Most High took the Israelites (led by Moses) on the journey toward Canaan (the Promised Land). After leaving Egypt and staying at Mount Sinai, they traveled to the southern border of Canaan at Kadesh Barnea, the wilderness of Zin/Paran.

In Numbers 13-14, the Bible records the story when Moses sent 12 spies while they were camped in the Paran desert to spy out the land the Most High was giving to them. All of the spies confirmed the land was rich, but 10 of them reported that the people living there were “giants” and the Israelites were like grasshoppers. In Numbers 13:30, “ Kalev (Caleb, one of the twelve spies) silenced the people around Moshe and said, “We ought to go up immediately and take possession of it; there is no question that we can conquer it.”

Unfortunately, the report of the other 10 spies that focused on the size of the people in Canaan versus the size of their G-d, the Most High, who was sent them panicked the Israelites. They refused to go in, and went so far as wanting to pick a new leader to go back to Egypt. Because of their lack of faith, the Most High promised that the adult generation, except Joshua and Caleb, would wander and die in the wilderness for 40 years, and only their children would enter into the Promised Land.

It is here in Deuteronomy 1:8, Moses tells them it’s time. G-d has declared the new generation of Israelites led by Joshua will finally cross the Jordan River on dry ground near the city of Jericho to begin taking possession of the land. And they do just that!

I am led to stop here for today. Children of the Most High, the Spirit showed me that in us are the two sets of people; the adult generation and the young generation. Today, the assignment is to kill the voices of the old adult generation within that is full of rebellion, fear and doubt and embrace the new adult generation that is speaking, “I am ready to go in and possess the land full of faith and trust in the instruction of the Most High.” It is no more church as usual. It is time for the leaders to lead the people of G-d into the fullness of what the Most High has for us, and for all of us, leaders (shepherds) and people (sheep), to be willing to stand and be the “royal priesthood and chosen generation, people for G-d to possess, so we can declare the praises of the One who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light!” (cf. 1 Peter 2:9)

Who’s willing to join me with a Caleb spirit today? Caleb a 85 yr old man who waited 45 years to get his promise. He was 40 years old in Numbers 13:30 when he first spoke the honest report. Joshua 14 records Caleb’s testimony of living through the wilderness experience watching the old generation die (rebellion, lack of faith, and unbelief) so the new one could enter in and claim what G-d had promised. Joshua 14 starts at 6b says, “You know what Adonai told Moshe the man of G-d about me and you in Kadesh-Barnea. I was forty years old when Moshe the servant of Adonai sent me from Kadesh-Barnea to reconnoiter the land, and I brought back to him an honest report. My brothers who went up with me discouraged the people, but I followed Adonai my G-d completely. On that day Moshe swore, ‘Surely the land where your foot has been will be the inheritance for you and your descendants forever, because you have followed Adonai my G-d completely.’ 10 Now, look: Adonai has kept me alive these forty-five years, as he said he would, from the time Adonai said this to Moshe, when Isra’el was going through the desert. Today I am eighty-five years old, 11 but I am as strong today as on the day Moshe sent me — I’m as strong now as I was then, whether for war or simply for going here and there. 12 Therefore, give me this hill, the one Adonai spoke about on that day; for on that day you heard how the ‘Anakim were there with great, fortified cities; perhaps Adonai will be with me, and I will drive them away, as Adonai said.” 13 Y’hoshua blessed him and gave Hevron to Kalev the son of Y’funeh as his inheritance.” At 85, Caleb still believed, if G-d said it, I believe it; I’m going to take Him at His word.

I was awakened early this morning with this “new man” in me, and something the Most High showed me 45 years ago yet I let go of due to fear, lack of faith, and disbelief is about to be fulfilled. Why? Because the old generation has died off and the new is standing.

I am not sure if this is just for me today, but I am sharing it with you! It is time to go in and possess what the Most High has given you! 🔥

Please don’t be the old generation or repeat their mistakes like the new generation once they went in. We are a chosen generation; let’s walk as such! 🙏🏽

Happy Sunday, Beloved Family ❤️
