Motivation Morsel - August 31, 2026

Joel 2:²⁵ “I will restore to you the years that the locusts ate, the grasshoppers, shearer-worms and cutter-worms, my great army that I sent against you.

²⁶ You will eat until you are satisfied and will praise the name of Adonai your God, who has done with you such wonders. Then my people will never again be shamed.

²⁷ You will know that I am with Isra’el and that I am Adonai your God, and that there is no other. Then my people will never again be shamed.

^2:28) “After this, I will pour out my Spirit on all humanity. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions;

^2 (2:29) and also on male and female slaves in those days I will pour out my Spirit.

^3 (2:30) I will show wonders in the sky and on earth — blood, fire and columns of smoke.

^4 (2:31) The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and terrible Day of Adonai.”

I was led to these verses today and recognized that the first portion deals with people in NEW season or a season of restoration and the Most High is working on behalf of His children. A part of what He is doing in this season is pouring out His Spirit on ALL of His children. This is a very timely word for the body of believers in the Messiah. We are being endowed with more of the Spirit of the Most High. This comes with more responsibility, maturity, and character building.

First, I have noticed in the past few weeks my dream life has become very active, and I am praying for the gift of interpretation like Daniel (Daniel 5:12-14). I have also noticed that I have been stern with some of the people in my life, because it is a serious time in the world and the Kingdom is advancing. What thoughts, attitudes, and actions that were okay for last season are not to be carried over into the NEW season. Example, our vision has to change, and we have to see things from the Most High’s perspective. We have to support each other without jealousy or envy with real joy for their promotions, advancements and life-changes. I have heard and said multiple times, “Stay in your lane and not compete with one another.” We have to build up each other and some of that will be with tough love. As the Kingdom advances, we have to advance as well. I have spoken to a few elders and minister who are beginning to prophesy more and have very powerful visions or dreams. I had one person yesterday explain the revelation she got from the word that was powerful. I attended service Fire Friday where the Spirit was high and people shared how they were stepping out of the their comfort zone. Saturday and Sunday, I saw people walking in NEW places and life-changing moments. The Most High is truly pouring out on His people.

Personally, the Most High is making me a stronger and better leader telling me and others to go out deeper and say the hard things more. I usually try to be really soft with my approach but I saw me having to nudge sheep harder. That is difficult for me. I have spoken to some that are thankful for correction and some that responded in their feelings and I heard the Holy Spirit say “Do not respond, ignore it!” That was the hardest for me, but this morning Holy Spirit corrected me saying, “Sit down. There is a time and answer for everything. You wait on me. No more doing things because of your love and concern for “feelings” when the Most High is building stronger character. Do what is required to sharpen iron, to mature disciples, to move them forward in the Most High’s love. You have been in a very difficult season to grow. Some others need the same. That’s love. I know what is needed for this season.” I repented and sure enough I had my first tests REALTIME, just as I am typing this post. I went to stop to respond to two emails and felt the Holy Spirit nudge. I heard, “Ignore one for now and wait until you finish this post for the other (both are very dear relationships to me that I am being told to change my response style). Beloved, we are all in NEW season and some of what is being required is disciplined change. Trust I am dealing with it with work, personal life, and ministry. Yesterday was like rapid fire change back to back. I repented so much I tried to sulk and heard don’t do that finish your work and I had to switch fast!

I gave all that to say, the NEW season is exciting, but expect changes, discipline and correction, cultivation and exercising of new gifts, and building of our character as the Kingdom advances. On this Commitment Monday, reflect on your past few weeks of August as we move into September and recognize how your NEW season is unfolding. Some things have been exciting, some things are not so exciting but necessary, some things are no longer good for us in this place, and realtime decisions are happening, BUT know that everything the Most High is doing is for our good (cf. Romans 8:28-29). Yes you know my posture, the Most High loves us and He wants us to succeed. Enjoy this NEW place, and walk on purpose. I saw a shirt that said “It gets greater later.” Beloved, Greater is here. ❤️
