Psalm 131 (0) A song of ascents. By David:

(1) Adonai, my heart isn’t proud; I don’t set my sight too high, I don’t take part in great affairs

or in wonders far beyond me.

No, I keep myself calm and quiet, like a little child on its mother’s lap — I keep myself like a little child.

Isra’el, put your hope in Adonai from now on and forever!

This Psalm is three verses, yet full of powerful instruction for us, the remnant, today.

Verse 1 tells us that everything about us has to be in alignment with the Most High - my heart is humble not proud, my view is the same as the Most High’s perspective not too lofty, and my agenda is His agenda not one that is beyond what is meant for me.

Verse 2 points us to our posture as children of the Most High, our Heavenly Father, to trust and rely on Him and not be too anxious, not complaining, not moving without Him, but in lock step like a little child with a loving mother, fully resting in the nurturing, protecting, capable arms of my protector, provider, and support.

Verse 3 sums it up for us - Children - there is no need to fret, worry, be anxious, or lose hope because our hope is the Creator of all things, the All Seeing, All Knowing, All Powerful G-d, and there is no one else like Him or greater than Him, and He has all things in His capable hands.

So from today, now on and forever, know G-d’s got it and you🔥
