Motivation Morsel - July 31, 2026

Hebrews 10:32 But remember the earlier days, when, after you had received the light, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings. 33 Sometimes you were publicly disgraced and persecuted, while at other times you stood loyally by those who were treated this way. 34 For you shared the sufferings of those who had been put in prison. Also when your possessions were seized, you accepted it gladly; since you knew that what you possessed was better and would last forever.

35 So don’t throw away that courage of yours, which carries with it such a great reward. 36 For you need to hold out; so that, by having done what God wills, you may receive what he has promised. 37 For “There is so, so little time! The One coming will indeed come, he will not delay. 38 But the person who is righteous will live his life by trusting, and if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.” 39 However, we are not the kind who shrink back and are destroyed; on the contrary, we keep trusting and thus preserve our lives!

On this Friday, let us be like the saints of old in verse 35 who held to their trust and courage in the LORD. They answered the call to hold steadfast to their faith and trust in G-d and endured even when the trials of life seemed hard to bear. They did so because they knew that the Most High was and is a rewarder of those who persevere in full expectancy of what He had promised to those who walk by faith (vv. 36, 38).


And we too know that G-d is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and hold fast to our faith and trust in the Most High at all times. G-d loves us, and He has made us promises, and the promises of G-d are “yes and amen" through the Messiah, which means that every promise G-d has made and is still making is completely true, fully assured, and fulfilled through Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ the Messiah) (cf. 2 Corinthians 1:20). As I stated yesterday, the word in Numbers 23:19 says that Our G-d does not lie, and if He said it, He will perform it, unlike humans who sometimes make promises and do not keep them—not Our Father nor Our Lord and Savior, who are one. He is faithful to His word and promise.


The Sabbath is approaching; let us lock into what the Most High has promised us, live on purpose, and eagerly await the fulfillment of ALL He has in store for those of us who love Him.
