Matthew 5:14-16: 14 “You are light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Likewise, when people light a lamp, they don’t cover it with a bowl but put it on a lampstand, so that it shines for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.
Ephesians 2:10: 10 For we are of G-d’s making, created in union with the Messiah Yeshua for a life of good actions already prepared by G-d for us to do.

Happy Wednesday Family. For many of us this is middle of the week (Hump Day). This morning I had to really reflect on the third spiritual checkpoint of the week which is “How can I be a light for the Kingdom this week in my home, workplace, ministry, and community?” I realized that the workplace is one of the most important harvest fields that we need to let our light shine that others may see G-d in our actions, speech, and attitude.
While I do not work directly with people face to face, I do get feedback on project work, and Holy Spirit let me know that my tone and attitude in my writing have to be “Christlike” regarding feedback and constructive criticism. I do not have the room to have negative thoughts about the iterative process even if I do not like it or find it faulty. The reviewers are performing their role too and need positive “vibes” when reading my resolutions. Sometimes we are not conscious that negativity and disapproval can be detected in our writing and approach to tasks. I repented when I realized I was favoring one reviewer over another and yes, my comments to that person was much lighter, thankful, and accepting. I went back made changes to the feedback response to match energy and vibe. They both need encouragement and appreciation for their input.
This may seem minor to some of you but as children of the Most High, we need to always be light and love. The easiest way to do that is to ask these questions when dealing with others: Does this person need encouragement? Am I serving them as the Messiah would in His interactions with this person? Do I reflect the love of the Father and the Messiah in all my harvest fields: my home, workplace, ministry, and community? Answers these correctly in every situation as we are called to have good actions that have been prepared for us to do in our daily walk.
Let your light shine bright today and always!🔥
Shalom Aleichem Beloved
