Genesis 1:26 Then G-d said, “Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and over all the earth, and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.”

27 So G-d created humankind in his own image; in the image of G-d he created him: male and female he created them.

28 G-d blessed them: G-d said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air and every living creature that crawls on the earth.”

*

Genesis 7:1 Adonai said to Noach, “Come into the ark, you and all your household; for I have seen that you alone in this generation are righteous before me. 2 Of every clean animal you are to take seven couples, and of the animals that are not clean, one couple; 3 also of the birds in the air take seven couples — in order to preserve their species throughout the earth. 4 For in seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; I will wipe out every living thing that I have made from the face of the earth.” 5 Noach did all that Adonai ordered him to do.

*

Genesis 7:9 couples (animals), male and female, went in to Noach in the ark, as G-d had ordered Noach.

*

Genesis 7:16 Those that entered went in, male and female, from every kind of living being, as God had ordered him; and Adonai shut him inside.

The Spirit is teaching me on what it means to be made in the image and likeness of G-d, and I am led to share this segment with Total Choice this week. Genesis 7:5 is the second time the Bible says Noah did all the Most High ordered him to do (see Genesis 6:22).

In the image and likeness of the Most High, obedience and trust are crucial. When G-d speaks, we must hear and obey. No matter how difficult the task or how bizaare it may see, do it with full expectation of the Most High to equip you to succeed. Noah did not have a lumber yard, electric drills, saws, and supplies, yet he built the ark to the exact dimensions. We know the Most High was pleased because, they (Noah’s family and the animals all entered in and G-d Himself shut them in the ark of safety. It is not about our works but the faith and trust in the Most High to exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we could ask or imagine (cf. Ephesians 3:20). After all the hard work, it is hard to imagine the awe, joy and amazement Noah and his family (the naysayers who ridiculed him too while he toiled to complete the mission) experienced to see two of every kind of animal walk peacefully into the ark. Noah’s faith, trust, and obedience pleased the Lord, and He rewarded all creatures and humankind with a new beginning because of it(cf. Hebrews 11:6). HalleluYAH 🔥 Glory to G-d.

On this Commitment Monday, I reviewed my journal and repented for things He has asked and are still not touched. I asked for extra grace and help to complete them. Every assignment is to bless the Kingdom Family. So work undone impacts Our Family and leaves someone without something they may need.

I say this all the time. The Most High wants to trust us and use us in His plan. My prayer point today from Noah is to walk in faith, trust, and obedience to the will of the Most High. Being made in His image and likeness, we have the blessed assurance that nothing is too hard or impossible for G-d. If He asks it, He will equip to perform it! Amein.
