Motivation Morsel - September 13, 2026
Colossians 3:23 Whatever work you do, put yourself into it, as those who are serving not merely other people, but the Lord.

I was led to this Scripture today (late posting I apologize I did not work on Yom Teruah). All of us who are children of the Most High have some type of work or task assigned to us for the Kingdom, even people who are retired from their secular work. The Most High has given a standard as to how we are to perform this work. Holy Spirit showed me the following:
First, we all have gifts and some way to use them has been assigned to us. Each person has a different set of gifts so my work may be different to your work, but it is important to the body’s purpose.
Whatever we do, we do it wholeheartedly to the best of our ability. No slacking off, no skimming or cutting back on effort regardless of what others may be doing. Why?
These assignments are not about pleasing people. Yes, you may have to adhere to some expectations or requirements of other people, but your ultimate supervisor is the LORD! Not the person you may be performing the work for or who pays you when money or some type of exchange happens. G-d is watching how we use what He has given us to bless others. I dare say His requirements are stricter than anyone else: bless your enemies (Matthew 5:44), slave/servant for the LORD (Colossians 3:24; Romans 1:1; Galatians 1:10).
The Most High wants His children to imitate Him. He gave His very best, and He wants us to do the same.
Take this work ethic into 5787 and try to please the Most High in everything we do, even our daily routines, household cleaning and other things we may find mundane. Even in those, He is there.
