Deuteronomy 29:28 (29) “Things which are hidden belong to Adonai our G-d. But the things that have been revealed belong to us and our children forever, so that we can observe all the words of this Torah.

Happy Friday! The Sabbath is approaching, and I am led to remind the children of the Most High that He knows everything—the past, the present, and the future including everything hidden. As we discussed yesterday, his thoughts and ways are beyond human comprehension and requires spiritual understanding. Why? Without the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) our minds and thoughts are limited to the natural realm. We cannot fully understand all of the ways of G-d or why certain things happen. We have to accept that some mysteries belong to the Most High alone without needing to figure them out. An old familiar hymn says, “We Will Understand It Better By and By!” Yet, in His infinite wisdom and everlasting love for His children, G-d has revealed so much to us. His word, His Son (Yeshua), His nature, His character, His many blessings and promises are just a few on the long list of the things He has revealed to us.
Importantly, His commandments, our instructions for living here on earth, have been made clear. We are responsible for hearing and obeying (Shema) G-d’s holy word, Torah, and believing in the works of His Son, Yeshua, for our redemption and salvation. Yes, the Most High loves us and gives us insight into what we need to walk through this life and to teach others how to do the same in preparation for eternal life with Him. He wants us to walk faithfully in what we do know and trust Him for the rest.
