The Most High said to Moshe (Moses) in Leviticus 6:8-9, "Give this order to (Command) Aharon and his sons: 'This is the law for the burnt offering: it is what goes up on its firewood upon the altar all night long, until morning; in this way the fire of the altar will be kept burning.

As with last week's readings, while reading about the offerings, see the importance of Yeshua's death for our sins, and understand what Yeshua did for us at Calvary (a hill in Golgotha outside the city walls). Hebrews 9:26b-288 explains his suffering on the execution stake for us. It reads, "But as it is, He (Yeshua) has appeared once at the end of the ages in order to do away with sin through the sacrifice of Himself. Just as human beings have to die once, but after this comes judgment, so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to deliver those who are eagerly waiting for him."

There is no more need for the blood of bulls and goats, for the blood of Yeshua has taken away our sins, once and for all!
