Genesis 15: Some time later the word of Adonai came to Avram in a vision: “Don’t be afraid, Avram. I am your protector; your reward will be very great.” 2 Avram replied, “Adonai, G-d, what good will your gifts be to me if I continue childless; and Eli‘ezer from Dammesek inherits my possessions? 3 You haven’t given me a child,” Avram continued, “so someone born in my house will be my heir.” 4 But the word of Adonai came to him: “This man will not be your heir. No, your heir will be a child from your own body.” 5 Then he brought him outside and said, “Look up at the sky, and count the stars — if you can count them! Your descendants will be that many!” 6 He believed in Adonai, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

The G-d Of Promise
The Most High made an incredible promise to Abraham that would require an extreme amount of faith. Abraham and Sarah would have a child in their old age when Sarah was beyond childbearing age, and verse 6 says “Abraham believed G-d, and the Most High credited it to him as righteousness. Exercising great faith, he believed the Most High.
Genesis 21:1-2 lets us know that “Adonai remembered Sarah as he had said, and Adonai did for Sarah what he had promised. 2 Sarah conceived and bore Avraham (Abraham) a son in his old age, at the very time G-d had said to him.”
I have said this many times over, “If G-d said it, believe it.” As Numbers 23:19 reminds us, “G-d is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind. When He says something, He will do it; when He makes a promise, He will fulfill it.”
Family, Believe G-d! He is pouring out promised blessings for His children in 5787! Like Abraham walk by faith and in due time His promise(s) to you will come to pass. Hold on; yours is on the way if you have not received it already! Amein.
Sabbath is approaching.
