Lamentations 3:21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

This is a familiar passage I was led to this morning. I pray it blesses you as it did me. We are in the middle of the Days of Awe leading up to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) repentance, forgiveness, fasting and praying, and this scripture reminds us that as the sun rises every day, the Most High gives us new mercies, a fresh portion of His grace.

Jeremiah wrote this while “lamenting” the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians, and yet, he is thankful that all was not lost and he is alive to tell this story; he is “not consumed”. Yesterday's troubles do not deplete G-d’s mercy for today. We can fully rely on Him, and put our trust in the Most High who is full of compassion.

Beloved, we serve a faithful G-d. The Most High is true to His promises. Keep seeking, keep trusting, and keep your hope in the true and living G-d, He will never leave us or forsake us. Amen.

Happy Tuesday, Family

Shalom Aleichem ❤️
