Motivation Morsel - August 4, 2026

Acts 1:⁹ After saying this, he was taken up before their eyes; and a cloud hid him from their sight. ¹⁰ As they were staring into the sky after him, suddenly they saw two men dressed in white standing next to them. ¹¹ The men said, “You Galileans! Why are you standing, staring into space? This Yeshua, who has been taken away from you into heaven, will come back to you in just the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Hebrews 1:1 In days gone by, G-d spoke in many and varied ways to the Fathers through the prophets. ² But now, in the acharit-hayamim (last days), he has spoken to us through his Son, to whom he has given ownership of everything and through whom he created the universe. ³ This Son is the radiance of the Sh’khinah, the very expression of G-d’s essence, upholding all that exists by his powerful word; and after he had, through himself, made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of HaG’dulah BaM’romim (the Most High - the Majesty on High; the Greatness in the Heights/Heavens).

Hebrews 10:¹⁰ It is in connection with this will that we have been separated for G-d and made holy, once and for all, through the offering of Yeshua the Messiah’s body.

¹¹ Now every cohen stands every day doing his service, offering over and over the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ¹² But this one, after he had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, sat down at the right hand of G-d, ¹³ from then on to wait until his enemies be made a footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he has brought to the goal for all time those who are being set apart for God and made holy.

Romans 8:³⁴ Who punishes them? Certainly not the Messiah Yeshua, who died and — more than that — has been raised, is at the right hand of G-d and is actually pleading on our behalf!

Hebrews 4:¹⁴ Therefore, since we have a great cohen gadol (high priest) who has passed through to the highest heaven, Yeshua, the Son of G-d, let us hold firmly to what we acknowledge as true. ¹⁵ For we do not have a cohen gadol unable to empathize with our weaknesses; since in every respect he was tempted just as we are, the only difference being that he did not sin. ¹⁶ Therefore, let us confidently approach the throne from which G-d gives grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace in our time of need.

Happy Tuesday, Family. We continue with the love of G-d through the works of Yeshua. We pick up today where Yeshua ascends into heaven and we like his disciples watching Him go up, await His return as His disciples sharing this good news with others (cf. Acts 1:9-11; Matthew 28:18). And you may ask, what is Yeshua doing there, and today we will deal with another powerful act of love while Yeshua is “seated at the right hand of G-d” interceding on our behalf (cf. Romans 8:34). Psalm 110:1 foretold of the glorious king who would be seated at the right hand of the Most High, and Yeshua takes that place, and He is not just sitting there awaiting the time of His return but He is sitting as a priest (cohen) on our behalf as Hebrews 1:3 explained.

First, "seated at the right hand of the Most High” tells of His authority as king over the universe

and the next phase of the Messiah’s work for us Beloved. The Levitical priests were always standing and offering sacrifices to the Most High, however, Yeshua was the perfect sacrifice and sat down because His sacrifice for sins was fully done. There is no longer a need for the blood of bulls and goats to be offered; that work is done (cf. Leviticus 1-8; Hebrews 9:13- 10:18).

Now, while seated, Yeshua is in heaven and acts as our advocate who intercedes and prays for us. His continuous intercession secures our salvation and seals it as everlasting and permanent. As children of the Most High we can approach the throne of grace, approach G-d with boldness, knowing we have an advocate speaking for us (cf. Hebrews 4:16). Because of the authority in Yeshua, when our accuser (hasatan), who accuses us day and night before G-d, Yeshua causes every accusation to be thrown out, and we can ask for forgiveness and receive mercy. We have a High priest who understands our weakness and knows exactly what to say on our behalf (cf. Revelation 12:10; Hebrews 4:14-16).

HalleluYAH! Family, we are so blessed and loved and every day we have a helper and advocate constantly working for us; His name is Yeshua. There is no need to avoid coming to our loving Father who has given us full access to His presence through His Son, Yeshua. 1 John 1:9 tells us, “ If we acknowledge our sins, then, since He is trustworthy and just, He will forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.” HalleluYAH again Beloved!
